Located within our Corporate Stores division, this role involves maintaining an organised and hygienic stockroom to optimise stock movement, processing returns and waste according to company policies, and supporting smooth store operations.

Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level
Previous experience in a retail or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) stockroom or receiving environment highly desirable

Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as required by store operations
Basic product knowledge relevant to stockroom inventory and retail merchandise
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal customers and team members
Good numeracy and literacy skills to handle stock records and related documentation accurately
Ability to follow company policies and procedures to maintain an organised, hygienic, and safe stockroom environment
Demonstrated customer service orientation, including friendliness, responsiveness, and attention to customer needs
Basic planning, organising, and detail orientation skills to ensure efficient stock handling and adherence to quality standards
Personal reliability and integrity, with a commitment to attendance, dress code, and ethical conduct in the workplace

Maintain an organised, hygienic, and safe stockroom environment following company policies and OHASA standards.
Efficiently process stock movements including returns (RTVs), inter-branch transfers (IBTs), and waste in compliance with Woolworths guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and courteously to internal customer requests and inquiries.
Ensure accurate stock handling through basic product knowledge and adherence to inventory procedures to minimise shrinkage.
Support store operations by keeping the sales floor and back areas clean, safe, and well-stocked;
Observe and report any acts of dishonesty, shrinkage, or fraud to management or the designated hotline.
Demonstrate personal leadership by adhering to attendance, dress code, and ethical standards consistently.
Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to setting goals and work schedules to enhance team effectiveness.
Maintain accurate stock records and documentation, utilising good numeracy and literacy skills.
Perform all duties with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with quality standards and efficient stockroom operation.
