Purpose

Requirements
- Grade 12 or National Certificate qualification
- Retail or customer service experience advantageous

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Maintain shelf stock levels by replenishing fresh, quality products and ensuring proper stock rotation and waste reduction.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards during all food handling and merchandising activities.
- Identify and report quality concerns, stock sell-outs, and suspicious activities to management.
- Ensure shelves are organised neatly in accordance with planograms, shelf edge labels, and the Gap policy.
- Support shrinkage minimisation efforts by following stock management protocols and reporting acts of dishonesty.
- Demonstrate product knowledge by advising customers on product features, benefits, and available alternatives.
- Work cooperatively within the team and maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanour under pressure.
- Attend team meetings and participate actively to understand daily priorities and targets.
