Purpose

  • At Unitrans, you will play a key role in shaping how the organisation evolves to meet future business demands.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership on impactful organisational initiatives that drive performance, capability, and long-term sustainability.
  • We are looking for an experienced Organisational Design and Change Manager to help shape how our organisation is structured and operates.
  • In this role, you will translate business strategy into practical organisational structures, operating models, and ways of working, while supporting leaders and teams through change to ensure successful implementation.
  • You will partner closely with business leaders and Human Capital to identify organisational challenges, design effective solutions, and embed sustainable improvements across the organisation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years’ relevant experience in organisational development, organisational design, or change management.
  • Proven experience in:
    • Organisational design and operating model development
    • Change management and transformation initiatives
    • Organisational diagnostics and performance improvement
    • Facilitating senior-level workshops and stakeholder engagement
    • Delivering projects in complex environments

Responsibilities

Organisational Design & Operating Models

  • Lead the review and redesign of organisational structures, roles, and ways of working to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Design fit-for-purpose operating models aligned to business strategy and service delivery requirements.
  • Develop future-state design options and provide clear, practical recommendations for implementation.

Organisational Performance & Consulting

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on organisational effectiveness and team performance.
  • Diagnose performance challenges across structure, processes, leadership, and ways of working.
  • Design and facilitate interventions that improve alignment, accountability, and collaboration.

Workforce Planning & Job Architecture

  • Lead strategic workforce planning to identify future capability and capacity requirements.
  • Develop and maintain job architecture frameworks, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment to organisational design.
  • Guide leaders and HC Business Partners on role design and job management governance.

Change Management & Implementation

  • Lead change management initiatives linked to organisational design and transformation programmes.
  • Build stakeholder understanding and readiness for change.
  • Develop practical tools such as communication plans, transition plans, and leadership packs.

Stakeholder Engagement & OD Consulting

  • Partner with senior leaders and HC stakeholders to deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and diagnostic discussions.

Project Delivery & Governance

  • Lead organisational effectiveness and change projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Ensure alignment with governance standards, frameworks, and organisational principles.
