Area Sales Manager

An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for an Area Manager within the Tekkie Town Operations team, a division of Pepkor Speciality, leading a team of Store Managers.
This role will report directly to the Divisional Manager. Our ideal candidate should be based in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth.

Grade 12 is essential.
A Retail/Business/Marketing Management diploma would be a definite advantage
Minimum of 4 yearsâ€™ experience with a major retail chain of which a minimum of 2 years must be within a senior management role.
A valid Driverâ€™s license is essential.

Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Willingness to travel and to be away from home for extended periods.

Generate and exceed sales budget and growth.
Manage operational risk and shrinkage within the area.
Oversee the effective stock management in all stores.
Effectively implement Promotions, visual merchandising principles and maintain standards.
Ensure compliance to Company Policies & Standard Operating Procures.
Optimize profit through the effective management of costs.
Ensuring the area meets its operational KPIâ€™s.
Nurturing and driving the Tekkie Town Culture within the area
