Purpose

  • A receptionist is the first point of contact for an organisation, responsible for making strong first impressions, managing front-desk operations, and providing administrative support.
  • They bridge the gap between clients, visitors, and internal staff.

Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12

Responsibilities
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries, and taking messages
  • Guest liaison - meeting and welcoming visitors
  • Correspondence - dealing with incoming emails and post
  • Ensure that the reception area is kept neat and tidy at all times
  • Offer tea/coffee to guests
  • Ensure that guests are screened before opening security gate
  • Data capturing
  • Ad hoc/Admin duties as and when required
