Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in journalism and/or communications.
  • Writing experience.
  • Tertiary education in English, journalism or communications is ideal.

  • Keen interest in learning and developing his/her writing and football knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Produce well-written content every day.
  • Adhere to Soccer Laduma’s policies.
  • Work with management and editorial team to develop and maintain an effective editorial team.
  • Responsible in helping to grow Soccer Laduma’s properties.
  • Work closely with the manager/editor.
  • Conduct interviews.
  • Write original and researched stories and areas of interest.
  • Be willing to contact players, supporters, agents, coaches or other stakeholders for exclusive content.
  • Be able to use social media. 
  • Must be able to follow KPA structures and self-evaluation structures.
  • Contribute to weekly team-brainstorming sessions to collectively conceptualise and develop top quality content.
