Purpose
- Join Lactalis SA in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, and take on the challenge of being the HR Manager for our Head Office Operations, ranging from Executive level to junior administrative staff.

Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in HR/ Industrial Psychology/Labour Law or Social Sciences
- At least 3 β 5 yearsβ relevant HR experience in an FMCG environment

Responsibilities
- Business Partnering: Collaborating with line managers in the business, to ensure the smooth running of the business from a people perspective in respect of the full HR Value Chain
- People Management: Provide HR advice and support on all people decisions to enhance employee performance, morale, productivity, culture, diversity, wellness and promote sound industrial relations. The People Management support to be provided by this role will be in close collaboration with other positions in the HR Central Team which includes:
- HR Manager: Talent
- HR Manager: Transformation and Training
- HR Manager: Remuneration and Benefits / Labour Budgeting and Reporting
- HR Manager: Industrial and Logistics Operations
- Labour Budget: Collaborate with line management and head office HR in compiling the annual Labour Budget for Head Office. Monitor costs and positions within agreed budget parameters. Compile action plans with line management for FTE/Labour cost savings initiatives.
- Employee Relations / Wellness: Effectively manage Industrial/Employee Relations activities to support business continuity.
- Change Management: Effectively assist in managing the transformation process and ensure achievement of set targets. Involvement in continuous business improvement initiatives
- Employee Engagement: Improve employee engagement at site through continuous identification of new engagement opportunities. Implement all actions as agreed on site engagement plans with clear timeframes. Ensures that the communication structures are maintained to address management/employee issues and to communicate appropriately.
- Plan recruit and Select staff followed by an onboarding/Induction Process
- HR Reporting to Line Management and Regional TAM Office and Group Office)
- Assist with HR Administration (includes payroll, UIF etc)
