Purpose
- Boxer Superstores, a leading retail company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Inventory Manager, to be based at our Distribution Center in Cape Town, Airport Industria.
- This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the management of stock, monitor warehouse capacity, and effectively lead a team of dedicated staff members.

- The role requires someone with managerial FMCG inventory experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehousing or distribution center operations
- Proficient in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of Bomm system will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A relevant supply chain diploma/degree would be beneficial
- Managerial inventory experience within FMCG is non-negotiable

- Deadline-driven with exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and some management experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure system stock and physical stock is aligned
- Manage periodic cycle counts and full stock counts within designated time frame
- Analyse stock movements
- Ensure replenishment of pick face
- Monitor continuous pick face let downs
- Manage stock right offs to a minimum
- Monitor ageing stock
- Monitor short dated stock
- Manage warehouse capacity
- Confirming empty bins status
- 100% adherence to SOPs
