Must be a South African Citizen
Relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration (BCom), Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, Accounting and Finance or related field at NQF Level 7 or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning
Postgraduate business qualification is preferred
Average grade of 65% or higher
Driver’s license and own transport will be advantageous

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data analysis and reporting.
Capable of working independently and in teams, with a proactive and curious approach.
High integrity and professionalism, especially in handling sensitive data and negotiations.
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced procurement environment.
Willingness to adapt in a fast-moving environment and contribute to various aspects of the procurement process.

Conduct research on suppliers, prepare RFQs, and analyse pricing and contract terms to support sourcing initiatives
Assist in spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier value
Participate in supplier management and relationship-building efforts, gaining insights into sustainable procurement practices
Provide data analysis, reporting, and documentation support for procurement activities
Engage in project-based learning with guidance from mentors and coaches to deepen your understanding of procurement’s strategic role within Unitrans
