Purpose

• The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for a self-motivated individual to assist the Senior Artisan to ensure that all projects and maintenance requests are completed according to specification within the budget and time frames using quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• This position requires a Grade12, or equivalent at NQF Level 4.
• Relevant Higher Education Qualification at NQF 5 will be an added advantage.
• This position also requires 2 years of work experience in building, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure.
• A valid code B or C1 driver’s licence (Code C1)

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction services at the Garden;
• Maintain infrastructure for Garden;
• Provide support with the maintenance of equipment; and
• Assist in the completion of generalist tasks.

Additional Information
