Purpose

• The Storeman will be responsible for the receiving, storing, issuing, and recording of goods in accordance with company procedures.
• This includes maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring the correct components are issued as per requisitions, and supporting the smooth operation of our parts and inventory systems.
• This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with warehouse or stores experience who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12  / Matric / National Senior Certificate
• Experience in a similar role: 1–2 years’ experience in a storeroom, inventory, or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of parts identification and storage practices.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and records these.
• Warranties check and deal with Cycle counts.
• Stocktake Monthly
• Ensure store accurately pinned - Parts in the correct place
• Dealing with suppliers.
• Ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts and administers the daily movement and storage of goods.
• Identifies components required for parts lists, microfilm, etc, and obtains same from appropriate bins.
• Ensure stocks are secure and properly accounted for.
• Ensure and maintain ongoing relationships with the customers.
• Ensure correct stock part ordering
• Company code of conduct, policies and procedures are adhered to.
•  Health and safety measures and adhered to at all times.
