Purpose

  • The role is responsible for the full human capital operations functions for our Head Office environment.
  • You will act as a business partner and first line expert on the full employment cycle across all functional and operational areas in the Head Office environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related filed
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a generalist human resource capacity.
Skills & Competencies
  • Able to work independently and report progress and results to a team.
  • Excellent HR and project management skills.
  • Positive professional attitude, team player, capable of working well with a vast array of employees and applicants.
  • Advance experience with HR management tools and methods to include risk management, strategic planning and change management.
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring employee data integrity across all people management systems, the use of Human Capital technology and systems to analyse and interpret relevant people information to enable decision making across functional and operational areas at head office
  • Actively participate in the selection process, in collaboration with line management to ensure that the business attracts the right calibre of employees for current and future requirements
  • Managing the on-boarding process at Head Office to ensure that new employees are properly integrated into the business and have the best possible on-boarding experience
  • Understand all remuneration and benefits principles, policies and procedures and ensure clear explanation to employees and line managers.
  • Co-ordinate the head office learning and development needs analysis for input into the company’s broader Skills Development and Learning and Development strategy
  • Facilitate talent management in the head office environment, including succession planning, career management and staff movements in line with the people strategy
  • Support employee engagement and communication in the head office environment
  • Ensure effective sound employee relations, compliance with labour laws and HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the transformation journey, including co-ordinating employment equity and skills development implementation
