Grade 12/NCV level 4 or equivalent, plus an appropriate three-year bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Transport and Logistics or any other relevant qualification.
One year' work relevant work experience.
Teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
A valid driver's license would be an added advantage.

Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications.
Computer literacy and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), organising, planning and administration skills.
Ability to plan and deliver lessons.
Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and to promote a conducive teaching and learning environment, SACE registration.
Computer literacy.

Prepare lesson plans and lecture students in compliance with College Annual Academic plan, the timetable and the College Quality Management System.
Must be able to teach Freight Logistic (NQF L2-L4), Transport Operations (NQF L2-L4), Transport Economics (NQF L2-L4) and Entrepreneurship/ Project Management (NQF L2-L4).
Set and moderate assessments (Pre and Post moderation).
Assess students, maintain assessment records and capture marks electronically in compliance with the College policies and procedures.
Monitor students' performance and provide critical feedback in an objective and professional manner.
Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of students.
Report to the Senior Lecturer and liaise with the Student Support Services.
