Purpose
- Manages, co-ordinates and controls the staff and administration of the recruitment process within the Human Capital Directorate.
Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Office Management and Technology or Public Administration or Public Management or Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license
- 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Manages and controls the performance of staff and is responsible for staff administration.
- Manages and controls the recruitment function for the Directorate through the supervision of subordinate staff.
- Responsible for the administration and control of the assets for the Human Resources Department and reporting regularly thereon.
- Controls the Staff Establishment and Organogram Administration.
- Providing statistical and other reporting and assumes responsibility for the compilation and distribution of circulars.
- Prepares the salary budget / staff estimates for the Directorate in consultation with the Senior Manager / Deputy Head Human Capital.
- Plans and controls the operating and capital budget for the Human Resources Services Directorate.
- Offers guidance and administrative support to management and employees on relevant matters.
- Responsible for the management and administration of the councils locomotion scheme and long service awards for the Directorates.
- Provides general administration services in terms of pool vehicles, requisition processing, stationery, etc.
- Manages the liaison function.
- Maintains audit standards and attending to internal and external audit queries.
- Undertakes special projects of an administrative nature.

Preferred Requirements:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Office Management and Technology or Public Administration or Public Management or Human Resources Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
