Senior Professional Officer - Human Resources

An appropriate tertiary qualification (B Degree/B Tech) relevant to the Human Resources discipline.
Between 5 to 8 years’ experience in a Talent acquisition environment.
Valid driver’s licence.

Well-developed project management skills;
A sound knowledge of relevant legislation and its application in this context; and
Understanding of an integrated talent management strategy and framework.

To provide a client centric and proactive service to all clients in respect of the City’s staffing requirements and strategies.
To conduct research and benchmarking of best practices in the staffing environment to ensure a centre of excellence approach in the department.
To facilitate and drive staffing related projects.
To provide specialist advice, guidance and support to all components of the staffing value chain ensuring a comprehensive and integrated service to all stakeholders.
Manage and mentor junior staff and ensure optimal utilisation of all resources.
