Senior Handyman (CCTV)

Assists in operation of CCTV equipment
Assembles the CCTV equipment as instructed.
Operates handheld equipment (hand tools and small plant, etc.) to cut through concrete/tarred surfaces and /or monitoring/participating in the preparation of trenches against marked out routes.
Visually examines seams joints and welds on piping reticulation and plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings and reports defects to the Technical Assistant, Artisan or Supervisor.
Removes defects for metering units, manholes and connections to domestic household/ municipal premises.
Clears blocked drainage and wastewater systems using high pressure cleaning systems or steel rods which remove debris/trapped waste.
Repairs leaks and flushing units in systems, replacing washers, gaskets and or components and testing functionality and/or reporting defects to the Artisan Plumber or Supervisor for attention.
Plunges sewer in preparation of CCTV inspections.
Removes and washes off debris from tools and equipment, observing sequence and procedures supporting safety regulations.
Physically loads materials and other products and/or holding and guiding plant/ equipment during hoisting and placement.
Removes debris/ rubble, etc. and cleaning worksites.
