Purpose
- To carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on all machinery.
Requirements
- Must have a Grade 12 / matriculation certificate or minimum of N2 with motor trade theory.
- Must be a qualified Diesel Mechanic (Earthmoving Equipment).
- Minimum 2 to 5 years post apprentice experience in Field Service Earthmoving Equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work safely always.
- Sell available hours.
- Maintain your tools to Babcock standards.
- Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs on all machinery.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Perform standby duties and willing to work overtime.
- Maintain a smooth workflow.
- Co-operation with other workers.
- Promote company image.
- Assist in branch activities, as directed.
- Mentor apprentices and RSA.
- Solve complex problems.
- Complete LMS training level TCL2.
