Requirements
  • Recognised National Diploma in Secretarial (NQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in clerical/administrative environment
  • Experience in rendering a support service to senior management
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
  • Provides secretarial support service to the principal
  • Renders administrative support services to the office of the principal
  • Renders administrative support services to College Council in respect of meetings, claims, travelling and other relevant activities
  • Provides support regarding meetings/conferences/summits/corporate functions and budget
  • Studies the relevant Public Service and departmental prescripts/ policies and other documents and ensure that the application thereof is understood properly and support the principal in execution

Remuneration
  • R338 106 per annum plus benefits.
  • Benefits include an annual service bonus.
  • Membership of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is compulsory.
  • Employees may also be eligible to receive a Homeowner’s housing allowance and the employer’s medical aid subsidy. (Details regarding the fringe benefits are available on request.)
  • Permanent position is subject to 12months probation.
