Requirements
  • National Diploma (NQF L6) in Management Assistant/ Business Management/ Financial Management or Public Administration
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in an administrative environment
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Knowledge of Occupational Training, Skills Development, SETA’s and the National Skills Fund
  • Advanced computer skills
Responsibilities
  • Administer all Occupational (Learnerships and Skills) projects
  • Assist the Project Coordinator with implementation meetings of all new Occupational programmes
  • Lead staff in the administration of all projects by conducting weekly project review sessions
  • Ensure that all the project deliverables of Occupational training, per specific project, are achieved
  • Liaise with Occupational Managers at campuses on the project deliverables of all projects (electronically, per telephone and report to the Project Coordinator)
  • Liaise with the Finance department regarding invoicing of tranche payments
  • Monitor deliverables and provide monthly updates to ASD Occupational Studies
  • Assist the Project Coordinator with audit queries related to Occupational projects
  • Ensure that Seta’s or Funders are informed on the project deliverables of Occupational projects
  • Report on all administration activities of Occupational programmes
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Liaise with QCTO on qualification specific requirements (including administration, registration and EISA management)
  • Attend stakeholder meetings when required
