Administration Clerk: Human Resource Management (Recruitment and Selection)

Purpose

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Appropriate experience.
  • Appropriate experience in using biometric machine (criminal checks/finger print hosting).

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
  • Knowledge and experience of Employment Practices (Recruitment and Selection) & Employment Equity will be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PERSAL).

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice regarding the application of Recruitment and Selection policies and prescripts.
  • Provide informal training to the panel when the need arises.
  • Responsible to facilitate recruitment and selection process.
  • Assist with scrutinise motivations for procedural and substantive correctness and fairness of recruitment process.
  • Host finger prints and process verification.
  • Assist with telephonic and written queries.
  • Maintain and update database.

Remuneration

  • R176 310- R207 681 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
