Purpose

  • An opportunity has arisen for a Skills Development Coordinator to provide administrative support and coordinate skills development initiatives that meet current and future organizational needs in line with General Freight strategic objectives, National Skills Development Strategy as well as the Transformation agenda.

Requirements

  • Matric.
  • Human Resources Development Qualification or HR related.
  • Minimum 3 years proven working experience in skills development coordination/administration.
  • SDF Certification an added advantage.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Displayed Knowledge of SAQA, NQF, SDL and SD Acts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of TETA/QCTO processes.
  • Displayed knowledge and understanding of the training and learner certification cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior HR Generalist - Skills in developing and implementing skills development initiatives for General Freight
  • Provide assistance in conducting an effective Training Needs Analysis for General Freight
  • Create training schedules for TNA implementation.
  • Participate in the end-to-end coordination of Learnerships, Apprenticeships, Internships and Skills Programs.
  • Coordinate DG programs tranche claim submissions.
  • Monitor the remittance of Skills Development levies and mandatory grant payments for General Freight.
  • Coordinate the training provider/supplier registration process.
  • Processing of training provider/supplier payments.
  • Monitor service delivery with providers as per SLAs/MoAs.
  • Perform a secondary SDF role for allocated General entities.
  • Record and maintain data for purposes of B-BBEE, ATR & WSP reporting.
  • Perform a primary reporting function to Senior HR Generalist - Skills on matters relating to implementation of skills development interventions and programs.
  • Contribute to the Training Provider evaluation process.
  • Provide administrative assistance for General Freight and KAP audit frameworks
