TFG HR Consultant Parow, Cape Town

Purpose

  • The HR Consultant will be responsible for performing HR activities across all TFG divisions/brands.
  • This role will be critical in offering front-line support on employee related matters and services.  
  • This role will interface with the Line Manager, the employee and internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • HR or related degree (advantageous)
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in HR
  • Cross function HR knowledge (Non- negotiable).

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient first time call resolution while providing an all-round superior service delivery experience
  • Provide first line consultation and advice according to agreed procedures,  and advise line managers and employees on relevant Self Service options (e.g. location of information on portals, basic navigation of relevant systems etc.), and policies and procedures related to all HR functions, including:
  • Maintain employee data and reporting
  • Adhere to service level agreements and quality standards
  • Employee Relations support
  • Talent Acquisition support
  • Talent Capability, Development, Leadership, Performance and Transformation
  • OD, Employee Engagement, Well-Being, Reward and Benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • If you apply for this role and you are successful, as part of the People Shared Services team, you may be expected to provide a service to customers any time during the hours 07h00 to 19h00, Monday to Friday as well as over weekends and public holidays, depending on operational requirements. Shifts will be planned and communicated in advance and will be on a rotational basis.
