Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • A relevant Culinary qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a senior Baker role.
  • Previous working experience as an Artisan Baker will be a great advantage

Responsibilities

  • Designing and improving recipes.
  • Decorating and displaying finished products.
  • Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
  • Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
  • Plan and maintain the required daily and weekly production
  • Assisted in creating new recipes.
  • Order and stock raw supplies ahead to avoid shortages.
  • Develop process improvements to avoid wastages and production delays.
  • Maintain production records.
  • Prepare and bake all bakery items for menu and catered events following standardized recipes.
