Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa has exciting Talent Pool opportunities for the position of Stock Manager. The role of a Stock Manager is to support the regions in the standardization of effective control of stock such that all stock transactions are accounted for and the system inventory levels are reflective of physical inventory within the warehouse & customer accounts are reflective of the stock that was physically delivered. The span of the role would also include raw materials stock management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Analysis of the stock management environment and identification of critical risk areas • Investigation and recommendations for the redesign of warehouse processes specifically related to stock management and movement. • Ensure standardization of management & control of raw materials inventory • Ensure standardization of effective & accurate accounting of stock movements via secondary distribution • Ensure standardization effective & accurate accounting of stock movements via primary distribution • Ensure standardization of customer claims processes & POD delivery requirements • Management of audit documentation and Sarbox procedures that are utilised for the effective auditing of stock management procedures • Ensure compliance to operational standards • Support the regional teams in the management of stock and raw materials • Compilation and issue of stock management policies and procedures • Monitoring of key KPI’s relating to stock management and control • Management of stock management systems and software applications to ensure effective utilisation within warehouse facilities • Analysis of stock reconciliations to ensure accuracy and to identify opportunities and issues • Design and implementation of stock counting procedures, systems and processes and the standardisation of these across all warehouse facilities\ • Quality assurance and roll out of TPM FIFO principles

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications and Experience: • BComm or related Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Transport, Business Management or Finance • Minimum 8 years operational experience in warehousing and stock control • Understanding of key business cost drivers • Financial and business modelling experience • Stock management experience • Experience in logistics and business software systems • Experience and understanding of SAP stock management transactions Competencies Knowledge: • Warehouse processes • Raw materials processes • Asset care processes • Stock processes • Stock planning processes • Customer claims process • POD requirements Skills: • Application of knowledge areas • Systems knowledge (SAP) • Literate & numerate Attributes/Attitudes: • Willingness to learn • Ability to adapt to change • Self-managed • Customer centric approach • Ability to communicate effectively • Attention to detail • Strong process orientation • Leadership capability
