Purpose

  • An opportunity has arisen for a Shift Supervisor to assist in fleet control, handling of administrative tasks and supervising, controlling and organizing drivers and assistants
  • Timekeeping of staff.

Requirements
  • Matric
  • 3 years warehousing/distribution/fleet control experience.
Skills & Competencies
  • Leadership skills
  • Assertiveness
  • Shift work in cold chain distribution environment
  • Excellent communication and people skills Computer skills (MS Office programs)
  • Own transport
  • Preferably in possession of code 10 license with PDP
  • Problem solving ability.

  • Briefing/debriefing
  • Vehicle utilization
  • Routing and scheduling
  • Tacho and trip sheet analysis
  • Fleet control
  • Handling of administrative tasks
  • Supervising, controlling and organizing drivers and assistants Timekeeping of staff
  • Maintaining discipline and handling of disciplinary enquiries
  • Capturing of various reports
  • Checking of Fuel usage on vehicles and keeping Fuel manager system up to date.
