Purpose

  • RCL FOODS is seeking a Channel Representative to join our the Millbake - Baking Business Unit.
  • The role will be based in Polokwane and report to the Sales Manager.
  • RCL FOODS is looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to join the team.
  • RCL FOODS entrusts the incumbent to be an effective Sales Representative to regional retail customers by maintaining regular contact and providing relevant solutions based on a clear understanding of the customers’ business, the macro environment and Sunbake products.

Requirements
  • Matric.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have a recognised Sales Qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience preferably within the FMCG environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 10) with PDP.
  • Computer literate with skills in Excel and word.
Responsibilities
  • Submit sales figures from drivers daily.
  • Ensure the capturing and allocation of all customer details.
  • Monitor Trade Prices.
  • Build long standing relationship with customers.
  • Ensure driver competency and delivery time management.
  • Ensure balancing of orders placed, delivered and returned.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective product distribution.
  • Actively involved with route and monthly planning.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints.
  • Manage driver shortages.
