  • Responsible for case management of GBV/VAC cases identified in the program (psychosocial support)
  • FIXED TERM: October 2020 – September 2021

  • Grade 12 with tertiary education recommended
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social work Field
  • Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience as a Social Worker.

  • Lead GBV case identification
  • Support the first line support e.g. psychosocial support
  • Facilitate bi-directional referrals to clinical and non- clinical service providers
  • Responsible for case management of GBV/VAC cases identified in the program (psychosocial support)
  • Facilitate referral and linkage to post violence care services, social services and child protection services
  • Generate reports on identified GBV/VAC cases (number of cases identified, referred and supported)
  • Oversee PEP, ART and PCV service referral and implementation
  • Case identification and first line support
  • Liaise with TCC for enrolment and referral
  • Support OVCY FSP overall implementation within the district and meeting GBV/VAC case targets.
