Purpose

  • The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has opportunities for suitably qualified and competent individuals to identify, take on and allocate assets.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Recommendation:

  • Relevant experience in an asset management / warehouse management / inventory management environment.
  • A valid Code B (or higher) driving licence.
  • People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

  • Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook);
  • Written and verbal Communication;

Responsibilities
  • Order and Receive assets;
  • Obtain quotes in accordance with policies and prescripts;
  • Maintain contracts file and asset register;
  • Report on movement of assets;
  • Check if transactions comply with legislative requirements with regards to transaction control sheet.
