Requirements

• A recognised NQF Level 6 qualification, as recognised by SAQA, in the following disciplines: Public Administration / Public Management / Business Administration. / Economics / Development Studies / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Social Sciences / Social Security.

Skills & Competencies

• Computer and Mathematical literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conducting beneficiary screening and completing manual applications.
• Performing file-level reviews and validations.
• Assisting beneficiaries in navigating the appropriate service cubicles.
• Verifying documentation and information submitted for review.
• Identifying frail or immobile beneficiaries and conducting home visits reviews.
• Participating in mobile review operations in remote or underserved areas.
• Assisting with mass review event held at community halls or municipal offices.
• Updating beneficiary record in the SOCPEN system and other relevant platforms.
• Capturing and maintaining accurate grant data.
• Identifying cases for suspension, lapsing, recovery of overpayments, or referral for investigation.
• Supporting document tracking, filling, and preparation of review reports.
• Scanning and indexing documentation to ensure completeness and audit readiness.
• Collaborating with registry and review teams to meet daily processing targets.
• Ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
