Requirements
- A recognised NQF Level 6 qualification, as recognised by SAQA, in the following disciplines: Public Administration / Public Management / Business Administration. / Economics / Development Studies / Finance / Accounting / Commerce / Social Sciences / Social Security.
Skills & Competencies
- Computer and Mathematical literacy are essential.
Responsibilities
- Conducting beneficiary screening and completing manual applications.
- Performing file-level reviews and validations.
- Assisting beneficiaries in navigating the appropriate service cubicles.
- Verifying documentation and information submitted for review.
- Identifying frail or immobile beneficiaries and conducting home visits reviews.
- Participating in mobile review operations in remote or underserved areas.
- Assisting with mass review event held at community halls or municipal offices.
- Updating beneficiary record in the SOCPEN system and other relevant platforms.
- Capturing and maintaining accurate grant data.
- Identifying cases for suspension, lapsing, recovery of overpayments, or referral for investigation.
- Supporting document tracking, filling, and preparation of review reports.
- Scanning and indexing documentation to ensure completeness and audit readiness.
- Collaborating with registry and review teams to meet daily processing targets.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
