Purpose

• We're searching for a Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Medirite River Park!
• In this role, you will be tasked with leading a team and ensuring that the pharmacy operates seamlessly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree / equivalent qualification.
• Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Experience in managing and leading staff.
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of Retail operations.
• Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems.
• Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation.
• Knowledge of financial management principles and systems.
• Computer literacy – MS Office skills.
• Unisolv experience.
• Marconi experience (advantageous).
• Effective conflict management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-centric skills.
• Excellent organising and planning skills.
• High level of attention to detail.

MANAGEMENT

• Operational work planning.
• Priority setting and scheduling of staff.
• Operational performance monitoring.
• People and enabling capacity management/Resourcing.
• Manage cross-functional relationships e.g. with Prescribers, Suppliers, Head Office, Store manager, and Cash office.
• Resolve escalated operational issues.
• Budget management.

LEADERSHIP

• Developing and tutoring staff, interns, and assistants.
• Motivate and discipline the team.
