General Worker - Artisan Assistant

Purpose

  • Epol is looking for an enthusiastic Artisan Assistant that will be based in Northwest (Rustenburg) mill.
  • This role gives support to Artisans by doing daily line inspections and reacting timeously to breakdowns to ensure reduced times for breakdowns.
  • The incumbent must honest and relaibale.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level or N3
  • Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months
Skills & Competencies
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags
  • High level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic hand tools experience
  • Shift work and overtime
Responsibilities
  • Do daily line inspections and give feedback
  • React timeously to breakdowns
  • Do mechanical maintenance
  • Factory lighting
  • Assist artisan overhauling and assembling equipment
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
