Purpose

Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Accounting or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 1 Year relevant experience
  • Valid Code B driver’s license
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with the public and prepare reports.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Compilation of statuary financial reporting as per MFMA (Municipal Finance Management Act) e.g., monthly, quarterly, and biannually reporting.
  • Responsible for grant administration, management and reporting.
  • Crafting reporting processes, procedures and internal controls for the purpose of maintaining the efficient flow of financial processes.
  • Preparing Section 71 reports, submission of data string and monitoring expenditure for capital, ad-hoc projects/ programs and prepare financial reports for submission to the immediate supervisor.

Remuneration
