Requirements
  • With a higher certificate (NQF5) in a related field plus 2 years of experience working within the travel or hotel industry (exposure to promoting/selling products, attractions and/or experiences).
Skills & Competencies
  • Good listening skills and attention to detail to create and translate our offerings into an exceptional visitor experience
  • A great team player who can play an equal part in contributing to our team efforts
  • Tech savvy: Ability to utilise social media and booking systems in support of our organisation
  • Prepared to be mobile, flexible and enjoy working at different locations
  • Committed to working long hours, on weekends and in a pressurised environment at times
Responsibilities
  • Complete travel, accommodation, and entertainment bookings
  • Execute customer queries in person, phone, and digital media, converting them into reservations and sales.
  • Set up displays, sell and re-stock merchandise
  • Keep abreast of the latest accommodation, places to visit, activities, attractions and events
  • Support membership and the Industry Services team.
