Requirements
  • ABET: Grade 10/Standard 8 (read, write and counting literacy)

Responsibilities
  • Daily cleaning of college facilities as per the allocated areas
  • Deep cleaning of college facilities at scheduled intervals
  • Assistance with the setting up of facilities for meetings or functions
  • Provide a general support service to the Supervisor of Cleaning Services
  • Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment
  • Safekeeping of maintenance tools and supplies
  • Stock-take of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools for re-ordering purposes
  • Assistance with some general maintenance tasks on campus
  • Performing of ad hoc tasks applicable to daily cleaning activities or any other tasks allocated

Remuneration
  • R138 486 per annum plus benefits.
  • Benefits include an annual service bonus.
  • Membership of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is compulsory.
  • Employees may also be eligible to receive a Homeowner’s housing allowance and the employer’s medical aid subsidy.
