Requirements

• A 3-year Degree/ Supply Chain Management/Logistics or equivalent NQF level 6 with 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of SCM guidelines
• Knowledge and understanding of education environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Government procurement regulations
• Knowledge of Treasury Regulations, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and Batho Pele Principles
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase order notes on both Pastel and SAGE Evolution,
• Asset Management
• Inventory and Logistics Management
• Demand Management and Procurement Management
• Contracts Management and
• Supplier Database Management
