Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent.
  • Nursing/medical qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ medical scheme administration experience with at least 3 years in administration.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in Private Hospital and Medical Scheme Claims Auditor.
  • Sound knowledge of the Medical Schemes Act No 131 of 1998 and its Regulation as amended, National Health Insurance (NHI) Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF), Council for Medical Schemes (CMS), Third Party Recoveries, and POPI Act.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels with Members, and Service Providers
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite; with sound knowledge of various (IP) i.e. Medical Scheme IT Administration Systems within the Medical Scheme Industry.
