Purpose

  • We are looking for a qualified and engaged Coordinator for our Customer Engineering Services department.
  • The purpose of this position is to take full responsibility for all installations in allocated areas by ensuring that installations on customer premises are done and maintained cost effectively, in accordance with Legal requirements, Afrox Standards, SHEQ compliance and meeting the agreed expectations.

Requirements
  • An Engineering Diploma (NTL6) or equivalent could successfully be achieved by you
  • You gained at least 4 years of experience with gas systems
Skills & Competencies
  • Project- and people management as well as administration skills are parts of your expertise
  • You possess great knowledge about preventative maintenance programs such as SAP Plant Maintenance and about OHS Act and SANS, 10087 and 10260 as well as a certain computer literacy
  • A strong willingness to work shifts and/or standby when required is present
  • In addition, business acumen, strategic thinking, customer focus, decision making and -execution are desirable competencies
  • As a team player, you possess great communication skills as well as a very good command of English
Responsibilities
  • As CES Coordinator, you are responsible for receiving customer and representative installation enquiries, visiting customers, discussing needs and advising on installation requirements
  • Designing installations is an important part of your working routine, as well as preparing quotations for negotiations
  • Professionally you assist with the review of and improvement to the current CSI process by involving all key role players on a national basis, in the review and renewal processes
  • Autonomously you develop project plans, order materials, arrange services (e.g. contractors) and necessary equipment or special requirements
  • Responding to service requests for all installations as well as scheduling maintenance staff and notifying region on completion of service calls belong to your daily duties
  • Furthermore, you ensure that Afrox strategies are implemented at the branch and that the staff receives continual feedback on developments or changes within Afrox
