Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Current registration with the SANC.
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
Skills & Competencies
- An additional post basic qualification of one-year duration.
- Knowledge of the management of people, financial and conflict management.
- Computer Literacy.
- Advanced Antenatal Course Attendance will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provision of optimal, holistic nursing care with set standards and within a professional/Legal framework.
- Effective utilization of resources (Human &Material).
- Participation with training and research.
- Provision of support to nursing services.
- Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and selfdevelopment.
