Purpose

• To provide products to visual inspection line, as well as palletize finished products and send to warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12.
• The incumbent should ideally have good eye sight and be dexterous
• No previous experience is required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment advantageous but it will take 2 weeks in order to be competent in this area

Responsibilities

• Stage product in designated areas for visual inspection and packing lines
• Verify correctness of batches staged for packing/inspection
• Transfer finished products from inspection line to crack detector and/or packaging lines
• Transports materials as instructed from receiving lift to designated process areas
• Transports finished product from the packing area to transfer lifts as instructed
• Support packaging operations when required
• Complies with all process GMP’s and Standard Operation Procedures in all areas
• Ensures material/product staging areas at the lifts are kept clean and tidy
• Removal of waste bins and ensure replacement and availability of waste bins at all times.
• Ensures aisle ways are kept clear of obstruction
• Ensures pallet jacks are kept clear of obstructions
• From time to time carry out other jobs within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent
• Report any non compliance in staging area
