Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader: Time & Attendance, to join the Human Resources Operations (HRO) department, in CCBA. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Business Process Tower Lead: Payroll. The purpose of this role, is to lead the Time & Attendance Systems team in providing a professional and responsive service to internal CCBA customers by adhering to defined service level agreements and statutory requirements, ensuring accurate T&A records and employee payments every month. This requires a passionate, proactive, efficient, and conscientious individual with strong administrative, logical and communication skills (written and spoken), who is a team player providing excellent attention to detail and who enjoys working within a fast-paced Integrated Business Systems (IBS) environment. To audit and control the accuracy of employee time and absences records captured by Line Managers and Administrators, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Incumbent is responsible for all T&A related activities on one or more T&A systems (SAP, Kronos & PRP). This position works closely under the direction and supervision of the Business Process Leader: Payroll CCBA territories.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure timely processing and auditing of T&A records and input within a 48hour SLA Audit T&A system, policies and procedures on a weekly/monthly basis and ensuring correct documentation for all T&A is processed. Maintain T&A employee records; ensure that employee work patterns and absences are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and maintain a proper document control system. Work with CCBA Line Managers, CCBA Human Resources and Payroll Centre of Scale (CoS) to ensure protocols are in place for all T&A records effecting employee payments. Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures for T&A processing and assist in the training of other staff on the relevant time systems and other general user questions or basic technical issues. Report errors in system to the Payroll Manager. Catalogue any discrepancies. Responsible for the coordination between T&A team and payroll, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data. Assist customers with general questions related to T&A, shift allowance, overtime and change in work patterns. Generate reports. Responsible for audit requirements, report preparation and submission including conducting regular audits related to T&A records adhering to all audit requirements. Ensure appropriate workload allocation, sharing of knowledge, review performance and instill a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service. Ensure that business goals are clearly communicated in PDRs and linked to individual and team objectives. Provide any required training/development for team, including developing a structured induction for new starters. Team planning on a regular basis as issue arise or in advance of anticipated needs. Conduct and document monthly team meetings and individual one-on-ones. Goalsetting with clearly defined KPIs and SLA. Communicate effectively with other teams and management by sharing information on effective practices and needs. Ensure high quality of work. Manage complex queries and difficult customers. Act as a point of escalation.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications: Matric or equivalent qualification Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or HR systems Experience: 5 plus years HR and/or payroll experience with a minimum of 1 within a supervisory level role Proven track record of HR systems experience Experience on Kronos is an advantage Knowledge of T&A administration processes Moderate to advance computer literacy essential Work experience with reporting and/or maintenance of SAP/Kronos/PRP MS Excel spreadsheets (advanced) Work experience with major ERP systems Strong skills utilizing and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system
